Infrastructure & Transportation
A Personal Note from Breanna:
Growing up in foster care, I learned early on that mobility equals opportunity. For a young person trying to reach school, a job, or essential medical appointments, lacking reliable transportation isn't just an inconvenience, it's an obstacle to building a stable life. Throughout my years in Arlington and navigating Northern Virginia, I’ve experienced the exact same friction working families face daily: stuck in gridlock on I-66 and Route 1, waiting on delayed buses, navigating dangerous street crossings, or worrying about invasive automated mass surveillance tracking our every move.
Safe, accessible, and modern transportation is a fundamental equity issue. I’m running to represent Arlington in Richmond to modernize our transit networks, build streets that protect pedestrians and cyclists, expand regional rail, and ensure every public dollar spent on mobility serves our community’s freedom—without compromising our privacy.
